“Just wanted to let you know that today is Jake’s birthday. He is 12 but still behaves like a pup. He is a pure joy. Thank you for allowing me to include this precious doggie in my life. We have had seven wonderful years together…my how time flies. ♥️”
🌹Wishing Jake many more Happy Birthday’s and continued, “Happy Days Ahead” with his beloved and amazing mom, Sara🌹
“Max’s Mass Cell Tumor is shrinking. His next appointment is the first week in April.”
No matter how long, I just want him to feel that he is loved again and will be loved to his last breath. Just breaks my heart that somebody gave up this sweet soul.”
Max was rescued from PBCACC. No one wanted to adopt. He was marked “For Rescue Only” as he had tumors on his back, face & lip which were suspected to be cancer.
With Max’s upcoming surgery on his face and lip. Plus the other surgery to remove tumors on his back and chemotherapy to shrink the tumors on his face prior to surgery, Max’s medical bills will be a minimum of $2,500.00.
The paperwork from the shelter reflected that Max was only 5 years old. We felt that he deserved a chance at a Happy, Healthy and Whole Life.
If you would like to assist towards Max’s upcoming surgery, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Donations may be made via Destiny’s PayPal
🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE. OLLIE HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND IN HIS EXTRAORDINARY NEW LOVING FOREVER HOME🐾💕
💗A sweet message from Ollie’s new mom after the “Love at first sight” meet & greet and ride to his new, “forever for real”, loving family and home💗
“Ollie has been Great! So good in the car on the way home, he sat up front with Adam, and I sat in the back between Maggie & Marvin. We’re (dogs & me) letting Ollie do what ever he wants, and take his time getting used to the routine around here. He’s a sweetheart! Ate all his dinner tonight, which some dogs don’t do the 1st night due to all the excitement! You & Jackie have been great, I was ready to give up when I got Ollie’s listing and told myself one last try! So glad I did! All 3 dogs slept for 3 hrs. when we got home. Last photo of Ollie with a quote, “Who says a big dog won’t fit in a puppy bed?”
Thanks for all your help!”
🐾💕We are wishing Ollie, his new mom and fur-siblings, “Happy Days Ahead!”🐾💕
💗“Daisy fits right in and made herself at home. She loves riding in her stroller next to her new brother Rufus. She picked out her favorite spots in the house already. Rufus is happy to have a new companion for walks and rides in the car. Thanks for rescuing her and choosing us to adopt her. We love her so much.♥️”
Daisy is so adored by her new parents and fur sibling, Rufus who was adopted from Destiny in 2017.
Special “Thank You” to foster mom, Lynn Mcgrew for taking such great care of Daisy. Plus spoiling to get ready to become even more spoiled by her new parents!
🐾💕We are wishing all lots of love and “Happy Days Ahead!”🐾💕
“Thought you might like to see a photo of our little prince.”
“Cuteness Overload!” Caleb is now 9 years old and still looks like a stunning young puppy. Thanks to Caleb’s mom and dad, he has lived a charmed life after being dumped with his brother on the streets at a young age.
Destiny for Dogs is wishing Caleb, his mom and dad continued “Happy Days Ahead?”
💗These two darlings were strays and brought to a kill shelter a few years ago. They were very scared, fear nippers and could not be adopted by the general public, “Rescue Only!”
🐾💕Special “ Thank You” to Susan Coates for going to the shelter to groom these babies who were severely matted. We are thankful that through your kindness and loving energy Danny & Hannah allowed you to bath and shave them. To Jennifer Kelly-Strzepka and Steven Strzepka for fostering and working with Danny and Hannah, never giving up on them even with their aggressive behavior. Thank you both for your dedication with trying to housebreak and socialize these severely neglected fur-babies. You are all truly rescue angels.🐾💕
🐾💕A “SPECIAL THANK YOU” goes to the most gentle, kind and loving doggie daddy, Patrick Duffy and his extraordinary family. Thank you for providing Danny & Hannah an amazing, forever home with truly “unconditional love.” There are just no words to express our appreciation. 🐾💕
🐾💕Once again, “It Takes a Village” to save precious lives, plus provide abused and neglected rescue babies a second chance for a “Happily Ever After” Life🐾💕
🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE AND PHOTOS OF SALLY WITH HER DAD. THIS WILL PLACE A SMILE ON YOUR FACE🐾💕
“Hi it’s Sally with an update / I’m all settled in an have adjusted with my new mom and dad. I no longer get up at 4:30 or 5:30 – I’m on a new schedule and get up at 6:45 with my dad. I have a comfy bed – no crate needed and a pee pee pad just in case I need it – I had a couple of accidents but my mom and dad understand and now I’m getting really good using my pad. I have lots of new friends in my neighbor hood and I love my extended family and they love me too. My mom and dad said “thank you so much for giving us Sally – she has really filled our lives with joy”. You all take care and know I’m in the best care with tons of love. Sally ❌⭕️🐾”
🐾💕Looks like Sally and her dad took a little “unscheduled” nap together?🐾💕
🌹♥️LOVE STORY TO SWEET NOT TO SHARE. WITH A BIG SURPRISE FOR MILTON’S NEW MOM🌹♥️
From Milton’s new dad:
💗“Dear JoAnn, Milton is sitting next to me in my recliner (at this moment), he has settled in as if he has always been with us. When Ellen came home her first question to me was, “why is the water bowl on the floor?” After which she was greeted by Mr. Milton the Berle wagging his tail at her. She was so surprised and happily shocked that she just laughed and looking at me asked, “How is Milton here today?” Needless to say she was VERY happy and started playing with him! He is such a blessing to us!! Thank you, thank you & THANK YOU AGAIN! Have a blessed night!”💗

“It’s Sally. Here is a picture of me with my new mom and dad. I have had the best couple of days with them. We have had so much fun. Friday my mom took me to get shampoo at my new vet. Dr. Mike was outside and I got to meet him. He was happy to meet me too. Then we met my new Aunt Marcy and my new friend Hershey. We had lunch at a restaurant outside, it was a beautiful day. We went to Petco after lunch and my mom bought me a few more supplies. We came home and Aunt Marcy and Hershey came back for a visit. After they left we rested and then my new dad came home and we played. I love to sit in his lap and sleep. Saturday we were home but today we are going to the pet store and for a ride in the car in my new car seat. I love my new family and they think I’m great. Thanks for finding me my new forever home.
We wish for every rescue baby the same love and happiness that Sally is receiving from her extraordinary new parents.🐾💕🙏
Destiny for Dog’s founder “JoAnn Goodrich” lost her beloved Monk on January 30, 2021. Monk lived a long healthy and loving life and his only problem was getting old! JoAnn and Kenny Goodrich will miss him dearly and he will be remembered for years to come. Wishing you both comfort and peace during this difficult time. Love from all your volunteers and friends.

He is absolutely wonderful and slept in bed with us and is amazing. Thank you for rescuing him as we absolutely agree if he’d ended up in a shelter he’d never be this sweet and relaxed dog that he is now.”

“It Is with my deepest sadness that I write and let you know that Charlie crossed The Rainbow Bridge last night. Wednesday night he had a first seizure and I rushed him to the emergency room. Medication worked and he was fine and good all day Thursday. Last night however Charlie had another in the middle of the night, I rushed him back to the Emergency room. The doctors worked on him for 2 hours to no avail, they did everything they could to save him. Charlie died in my arms, he was such a good baby I had him almost 5 years. Charlie wanted for nothing if he needed something he got it . I am heartbroken
I attached a picture of Mr. Charlie in his own Lawn chair. He was such a big joy to me.
“It is with a very heavy heart I have said goodbye to my little guy today. It’s only been less than 5 years we have been together but seems much longer. I’ll never forget when you and your little brother came to me as fosters from Destiny For Dogs, JoAnn Goodrich! Thank you for giving me the chance to give him his final forever home. You had such a rough life before. I’m so glad I was able to give you the love and family you deserved these past few years. Thank you Dr. Matthew Bond for taking such good care of my boy at the end so he didn’t suffer. I will miss you always ZEN but for now run free! Until we meet again.”
