Dolce

Dolce is a 10 years old, 10lbs ”Hairless” Chinese Crested female. She is fully vetted, spayed, up to date on shots, microchipped, good with other dogs, kids, in car on leash. In fact, Dolce loves to take long walks. She is in need of a very loving, patient and nurturing home. Must wear diapers as she has no control over her bodily functions. Dolce was accidentally run over by her owner who paid for surgery. Even after surgery the severe damage affected her ability to housebreak. Dolce’s owner took her back to the vet to have her euthanized. Thank goodness the vet refused to do so. That is when Dolce’s owner surrendered her.

She is a very sweet and affectionate girl.

Dolce so deserves that special someone and home so she may live out her golden years with unconditional love and happiness.

Pupdate: Daisy

🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE FROM DAISY’S MOM🐾💕

“I just thought I’d send you a new picture of Daisy (Sally, min pin chihuahua).  Daisy and Bandit are the best of friends and wherever Daisy is Bandit isn’t far behind.  They love to wrestle and play together.  Daisy has managed to divert Bandit’s attention from the cats which is a great relief for the cats.  As fast as Bandit is Daisy surprisingly can run circles around him which is great because she manages to tucker him out so he is a lot calmer in the house.  We finished our 6 week training session with Bandit and Daisy.  Daisy is a star pupil but we are continuing to practice.”

🐾💕We are wishing Daisy, her mom, dad and fur-sibling, Bandit, “Happy Days Ahead!”🐾💕

Donations for Suzie

Suzie is one fortunate little girl to have such amazing parents. It was definitely “love at first sight” for Suzie, her mom and dad. However, only two weeks in her loving forever home, a tragic turn of events occurred. We are so thankful to this amazing couple who had the option to return sweet Suzie to Destiny for Dogs. Instead they opted to provide everything she needed medically to recover. Destiny for Dogs is indebted to them for their love, dedication, commitment to keeping Suzie and providing her financial and very time consuming physical rehab.

Because of sweet Suzie’s extraordinary new parents, we want to help defer the cost of her lengthy and extremely expressive treatment that Destiny would have incurred if they opted to return Suzie. This is truly a love story that deserves a “Happily Ever After.” Please show your love and support by making any size donation, which will be greatly appreciated to assist Suzie and her wonderful parents.

Donations may be made via Destiny for Dogs PayPal Account http://paypal.me/destinyfordogs
or a check made out to Destiny for Dogs

Please note on check or PayPal for “Suzie’s Medical Care.”

Background Story:

All was going wonderful until Suzie started to have a difficult time walking. She was dragging her hind legs. Suzie was rushed to Dr. Abbott who did an exam and referred her parents to Dr. Roy. Thankfully the diagnosis was not life threatening but still very critical due to a herniated disc. Susie’s parents and Dr. Roy had no idea how this happened. She was fine one day and woke up the next not being able to move her back legs.

The surgery was a success! After days nine days of critical care, Suzie is home being loved and nurtured by her mom and dad. She is their little angel and will receive the best care, plus tons of love.

We will keep you posted on sweet Suzie’s progress as she goes through months of physical therapy.

We are wishing Suzie a 100% healing, plus sending loving thoughts and prayers to the family.

Pupdate: Tinker

Hi Grandma!  Boy have I been busy.   My yard has squirrels, raccoons, armadillo, deer, 🐦 birds,… and I am so busy ..  Roxie is right by my side.  I don’t weigh as much as I use to, cause I run a lot. Mom saw you had a baby like me that needed a home and she was sad she didn’t have a way to get them here to live with us.    I still think of you and how you saved my life.

I will always love you♥️. Tinker

P.S. Roxie, sends her love💕

Pupdate: Toby

From Toby’s mom:

“We adopted Toby , the senior JRT, a few weeks ago.  He is now back in NH with us and he is just totally awesome.  He is sooooo good and loving.  We totally adore him.  I often say that we both hit the jackpot…we got a great dog and he got a great home….thank you for bringing him into our lives.

We went to visit a dear friend in a nursing home yesterday and Toby was a big hit. I knew he would be.

Because he is small, the old people all thought he was a puppy.  Again, he was so good.  Very gentle and friendly.  Dogs really light up the old people’s day!  I learned that when I brought my last dog to visit my Dad.”

Wishing Toby, his loving mom and dad, “Happy Days Ahead!”
