Scarlett the Boston Terrier puppy who was born with a huge PDA and a level 6 heart murmur is safe and sound with her dad (cardiologist), amazing, nurturing mom, plus two and four legged siblings.
Special “Thank You” to all for your love and support with Scarlett’s surgery. Plus, foster mom, Michelle and Dr. Pelosi for performing her “life saving” heart surgery.

Mr. Peanut was dumped by his owners at PBC ACC. An amazing son surprised his elderly mother with Mr. Peanut after she lost her beloved dog and has been devastated. As you can see from the “FaceTime” photos, there were tears of joy. We heard that Mr. Peanut’s new mom has not let him out of her sight. A picture is worth a thousand words. Mr. Peanut will have an amazing second chance at life and filing a void in his new mom’s heart.
Tinkerbell a senior maltese rescued from PBC ACC is provided a second chance at happiness.
Tinkerbell will never want for anything, her new mom Evelyn and dad Raymond (in photo) will see to that. This senior couple lost their beloved dog, Little Prince and have been heartbroken. Tinkerbell has filled a huge void in their lives. This was a match made in heaven.
Regis a senior maltese that was dumped at PBCACC by his owner has been adopted. Regis now Charle has placed a smile back on his new elderly mom’s face. A neighbor said, “Anna hasn’t smiled since losing her beloved family members including her dog until Charlie came into her life.

I would like to thank you for the quick response and adoption process of Oreo. She’s perfect for our family she has been the missing piece and now we are finally complete. Oreo is the sweetest loving dog. We are happy Oreo found her forever home with us.

Bagel came to Destiny for Dogs when her owners could not handle her having accidents in the house. She was surrendered to Destiny for Dogs and she was taken to the vet and had emergency surgery and literally more than 50 bladder stones were removed which means Bagel was in pain for quite some time. Deidre adopted Bagel and Bagel was able to live a very happy life. We are sad to say that Bagel has crossed over the Rainbow Bridge and she will be in our hearts furever. Deidre says that Bagel brought so much joy to her life and she was so grateful for her short time with her. She wishes more people knew just how much happiness a senior adoption dog can bring to their lives. She misses her every day and feels so very lucky that Destiny for Dogs brought her into her life.
GOOD NEWS PUPDATE! RESCUED AT THE ELEVENTH HOUR A FEW YEARS AGO. WOLFIE & TINY CONTINUE TO “LIVE THE LIFE OF RILEY” THANKS TO THEIR AMAZING FOSTER PARENTS.
Wolfie & Tiny were rescued years ago from “Death Row” at separate times. However they both ended up with the same foster parents who could not let either one go. Wolfie & Tiny had issues however their foster parents wouldn’t give up on either one.
Yes, Wolfie & Tiny became “Foster Failures” and this most likely was the happiest day of their lives.
Thank you Colleen & Michael for providing Wolfie & Tiny such a loving forever home. Only “Happy Days Ahead” for these two boys who also bring a smile to my face every time I see the.

Greta had a rough start in life. Her adopters were very patient, loving and nurturing. Greta was adopted before mom was pregnant with their beautiful daughter. Mom & Dad never gave up on Greta. This picture is worth a thousand words. Plus, a valuable lesson, “Don’t give up on your pup. Love, dedication and patience conquers all!”

“Thought I’d give you a glimpse into Dresden’s New England country life. She’s so relaxed she was falling asleep sitting up. 100’s of acres of beauty off our back porch and a fenced in yard just for her!
We adore her. Dresden brings us such joy every day. What a great travel companion. She flys like she’s been doing it for years She was quiet in her carrier (which doesn’t last long because we are frequent flyers – don’t tell anyone)
Then our dogs are allowed about the cabin to entertain in first class.
I love you for giving her to us. She’s only barked 3 times and each time something was there. We had a bob cat in the backyard in the middle of the night, my husband in the kitchen at midnight and my daughter came up from NC to surprise me for my birthday. I finally have a watch dog. My other two dogs greet people and point out the silver.”
Dresden truly hit the doggie lottery.
