Special “Thank You” to Cynthia Clements for rescuing Nina.  Jennifer Kelly-Strzepka for fostering, loving and nurturing Nina to get her ready for her new life. 

Nina was scared, shy, and not trusting of people (especially men). Jennifer’s patience and devotion, changed this little girl’s life forever. Thanks to Jennifer, Nina has an extraordinary new home. She will not leave her new mom’s side. Plus has a kind, patient, loving dad, two and four legged siblings who all adore Nina.

🐾💕To know Moochie is to love him.  Special “Thanks” to his foster parents’ Evelyn Garner and Barry for taking such great care of JoJo for over a year.  His mom, Jessica took over where you left off.  Being blind from SARDS and recently developing diabetes has not impeded this troopers happiness. He was so loved by you both, then unconditionally loved by his adoptive mom.

“It’s Sally.  Here is a picture of me with my new mom and dad.  I have had the best couple of days with them.  We have had so much fun.  Friday my mom took me to get shampoo at my new vet.  Dr. Mike was outside and I got to meet him.  He was happy to meet me too.  Then we met my new Aunt Marcy and my new friend Hershey.  We had lunch at a restaurant outside, it was a beautiful day.  We went to Petco after lunch and my mom bought me a few more supplies.  We came home and Aunt Marcy and Hershey came back for a visit.  After they left we rested and then my new dad came home and we played. I love to sit in his lap and sleep.

Saturday we were home but today we are going to the pet store and for a ride in the car in my new car seat.

I love my new family and they think I’m great.  Thanks for finding me my new forever home.

Hi Destiny for Dogs, 

Hope all is well with you! On Monday it will be 3 years since you made it possible for us to provide Diesel with his furever home!  We just love him to pieces! He is always up to some antics that’s makes us laugh!  

The 1st pic is then 3yrs ago and now in his new anti anxiety/calming bed!  Well he thinks its a toy and is always dragging it all over the house!  I found it out on the pool deck one day! 

The next pics are of Max and Diesel on their window seat, and Diesel thinking he is hiding under his bed and the other he is sleeping!  

He runs this house! ❤ Thank you for all you do to save our furever friends!  ❤  Shelley

“Good Morning! Love the posting on the website, will be forwarding it to all my contacts! THANKS! UPDATE: The voting on Ollie’s name change was done on Easter with 18 people, family & friends. Here’s the choices: MUGSEY, MARLEY, MOOSE, MILEY, MACK, OLLIE: Results: 16 for Ollie (including me) and 2 for MOOSE!  He has been such a good dog, now running around the yard with M&M, pees & poops in the yard, (goes to the farthest corner from the back door, so nobody ever steps in it!) He’s been so good, I got him a new outdoor bed, which is big enough for all 3! He’s good about Sharing! Speaking of beds, he is now sleeping with the rest of us! Goes to sleep in the big bed, and sometime during the night switches to the bench at the end of the bed, and when he wakes up in the morning JUMPS! up in bed with us wagging tail and giving kisses!! SO I got him a new outdoor bed for being such a good dog! and he loves it! This adoption has been a WIN-WIN for all of us!”

Destiny for Dogs rescued Sherry aka Sweetie from The Grand Bahamas Humane Society where she was taken in as a puppy and well cared for until the airlift on 4/17/21.  Thank you Tip and Grand Bahama Humane Society Staff. A special “Thank You” to Lynda Poggie Carlson for picking up Sherry at the Ft. Lauderdale Airport and bringing her to foster mom, Jackie.

Also many thanks to Jackie Sickels and her amazing family for fostering, loving and nurturing Sherry Baby until her adoption on Mother’s Day🌹

I wanted to let you know Freddy is doing good, I love him so much, he had a spa day today. Better yet no more yeast.”

Destiny for Dogs wants to thank everyone as Freddy is a fortunate fella to have such a wonderful mom. This senior gentleman was in poor shape when rescued after his owner became very ill and unfortunately passed away. 

With the help of his amazing foster mom, Jackie Sickels and her family, Dr. Abbott and Dr. Liberman, he started on the road to recovery.🌹

Special “Thank You” to  Lynda Poggie Carlson who provided one of her clients Freddy’s information. Lynda’s extraordinary client met and fell in love with Freddy. She continued to love, nurture and provide the best care.

We have hit the 3-1/2  month mark and we could not be more in love with Colby. She is fully housebroken at this time, she has a routine she can depend on, she loves to learn and make us happy. She has given our senior dog comfort when we are not home and she has gone nose to nose with our cat in affection. Every ounce of her is love and we thank you every day for saving her. I wish everyone the same joy and love that Colby brings us. God bless all the work you do. Your an angel, not only for dogs but for  people who also need to be rescued.”

“Ollie has been Great! So good in the car on the way home, he sat up front with Adam, and I sat in the back between Maggie & Marvin. We’re (dogs & me) letting Ollie do what ever he wants, and take his time getting used to the routine around here. He’s a sweetheart! Ate all his dinner tonight, which some dogs don’t do the 1st night due to all the excitement! You & Jackie have been great, I was ready to give up when I got Ollie’s listing and told myself one last try!  So glad I did! All 3 dogs slept for 3 hrs. when we got home. Last photo of Ollie with a quote, “Who says a big dog won’t fit in a puppy bed?”

💗“Daisy fits right in and made herself at home.  She loves riding in her stroller next to her new brother Rufus.  She picked out her favorite spots in the house already.   Rufus is happy to have a new companion for walks and rides in the car.  Thanks for rescuing her and choosing us to adopt her. We love her so much.♥️”

Daisy is so adored by her new parents and fur sibling, Rufus who was  adopted from Destiny in 2017.
