“It took a little bit of discussion but a lot of kisses.”
💗We love sharing photos and comments between Lucky and his Mom. This precious guy is so fortunate to have such a terrific and hilarious mom to share his Golden Years! A picture is worth a thousand words.💗
In Loving Memory of Geodi from his beloved mom, Jackie:
“It’s with much sadness that yesterday once again I had to send another over rainbow 🌈 bridge. Geodi weighing in at only 6 pounds was mighty and fierce, the rest of the crew ran from you when you were in the mood. You came to me six years ago with your brother and you’ve been searching for him since he left us nine months ago. Now the two of you can be together again. We’re going to miss you little guy but Zen & Laci are waiting for you. Thank you Destiny For Dogs and JoAnn Lewis Goodrich for everything you do to help these voiceless critters and letting me give these guys a home when you did. RIP Geodi. We love you!”
“Zola celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving this past weekend!
She is such a special dog, truly my little partner in crime. I’m so thankful for her! She’s so unique she is the topic of conversation everywhere she goes. And I’m not kidding when I say every person at the horse shows asks about her every week 😁 a fan favourite!
Zola will be 3 years old this Halloween 🎃”
🌹Special “Thank You” to Foster Mom, Michelle Martin for finding Zola such an amazing mom and forever home almost three years ago🌹
🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE! LUNA HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND IN HER LOVING FOREVER HOME🐾💕
Luna spent her life as a breeder dog. When rescued, she was skin and bones, ear, eye and skin infections. A growth on her back and on her gums. Vickie Virzi, thank you for rescuing Luna and transporting to Destiny💗
Thank you to Dr. Abbott, Lynn Mcgrew and Staff for all that you did medically (spay, dental, growth removals, biopsies, medication, bloodwork and aftercare) to start Luna on the road to recovery💗
A “SPECIAL” Thank You to Luna’s Foster Mom, Amanda Lawrence for working your magic, providing extraordinary care physically and emotionally to your precious foster girl. Plus finding Luna the perfect new mom and loving forever home. No words to express our appreciation💗
From Luna’s new mom, Laine:
“♥️I am in love with Luna and she’s in love with me. She slept through the night in her bed in my bedroom. When I woke up she had moved the bed closer to my bed. I just lost it♥️ Luna follows me around already. I am obsessed with her. JoAnn, I couldn’t love her more. I just couldn’t. She’s just so delicious. I can’t stop kissing her and she loves it. Luna grunts and looks at me like I’m her mommy.♥️ If this is day one, can you imagine how happy we’re all going to be in the years to come? Luna says “good morning.” She had her walkie, breakfast and face squish cleaning. She’s just a treasure.♥️”
Luna will now be loved, nurtured, and provided everything that she so deserves. Now a beloved family member, not a money maker. Luna will only experience love and “Happy Days Ahead!”💗
It takes a Village and we have the most amazing Villagers! Love, Hugs & Thanks to each of you♥️
These sweet angels are looking for their forever home. They are about 9-10 weeks old and are Siamese mixes. Prior to adoption they will get their vaccinations and will be fixed. Their mommy is also up for adoption but we are still working with her as she appears to be feral. Mommy is a young kitty herself. If you would like to help to provide any of these babies with a forever home together or separate please text us at 954-448-3186 or send an email to melody@destinyfordogs.com

🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE! FENI HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND IN HER LOVING FOREVER HOME🐾💕
From Feni’s New Daddy:
“Hey JoAnn,
Just thought I’d let you know that Feni is already feeling at home. She’s had her first neighborhood walk, explored the house and approves, has run all around the yard and pool with a big smile the whole time. Now she’s sitting with mama relaxing. We are all having a blast, been running some more and just had another walk. She is a delight and catches on quick.
Thank you so much for helping us find this love connection, she’s going to be absolutely ecstatic here and so are we!”
🌹Special “Thank You” to Joy Drasher Clip Joint for rescuing Feni and contacting Destiny for Dogs. Many “Thanks” to Jackie Sickels and her Family for working with Feni to get her ready and where she needed to be prior to her perfect, new family🌹

🌹🌈🐾♥️IN LOVING MEMORY OF MOCHIE AKA JOJO FROM HIS MOM♥️🐾🌈🌹
💔I lost my beautiful and good, one of a kind baby boy Mochie, Monday on the full moon. So deeply truly saddened. Had him for almost 2 years, was sick for 1 year. Mochie loved riding in the car, loved his foodie, loved walking, loved resting and sleeping late! Vet came to house yesterday, said he wasnt good. Mochie had been fading for some months. Mochie went to sleep in yard, as best he could, beautifully and peacefully. I will get his ashes next week💔
🌈For those who knew and loved this very special boy, he will truly be missed, especially by his mommy. Beautiful Boy, Rest In Peace at Rainbow Bridge where you are now, Happy, Healthy and Whole🌈
🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE! PENNY HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND IN HER LOVING HOME🐾💕
Penny the Senior Shih Tzu lost her mom and the only home she ever knew. Unfortunately, no family member could provide her a new home💔
Special “Thank You” to Leslie McGuirk for contacting Destiny for Dogs about Penny.
Thankfully one of Destiny’s prior adopters saw Penny’s photo and it was love at first sight. Thank you Linda and Jim for providing this sweet, deserving girl, a new loving forever home.
We are wishing Penny, mom and dad, “Happy Days Ahead!”
🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE. CARLY HAS BEEN ADOPTED AND IN HER LOVING FOREVER HOME🐾💕
From Carly’s new mom:
“Carly is doing so good she has been sleeping in our bed the last couple of nights. Carly follows me everywhere and my husband is over the moon in love. In just a few days she has brought us so much joy, happiness and we only hope we have her for many many years.
It’s almost like having a toddler we have more toys all over the entire house, everyone that comes to see her brings more and she loves every one of them.
Carly is an absolute love and angel. She has become a princess in her castle. I can’t thank you enough.”
Special “Thank You” to Carly’s extraordinary foster mom, Ann who rescued this beautiful, loving girl. She nursed Carly back to health after having a huge bladder stone removed. She was so matted, and had to be shaved down as her fur was like an armadillo.
We are wishing Carly, her mom and dad, “Happy Days Ahead!”🐾💕
From Cooper’s amazing mom: “Hi. It’s Abby. Just wanted to let you know that Cooper crossed over the rainbow bridge today. He was very sick. I couldn’t watch him suffer anymore. But I wanted to thank you for letting us love him and trusting us with him. And I wanted you to hear it from me. Thank you so much for everything.”
Cooper was a very special fella. He hit the doggie lottery with his caring, loving, patient, mom and dad. They provided Cooper an extraordinary life.
Sending loving thoughts and healing prayers to Cooper’s family. Until you meet again, always with you and in your heart … “Just look up.”
“JoAnn, I’m forwarding to you a webpage from a local camera store that runs a weekly contest. This past week the theme was dogs. There’s a long story behind these photos and how they ended up as winners in the contest. Briefly, I took the black and white photo of King on my front porch. The color photo was taken by a neighbor while I was walking King near the neighbor’s home – that’s my leg and foot in the photo. I didn’t know at the time that the photo was taken – telephoto lens. But the combination of the two photos has led to King’s being crowned by the camera store as “King of Warrenton.”
King is now a “Superstar” and Crowned, “King of Warrenton.” Such a precious and deserving senior guy. King had a rough life until Jim drove from Virginia to Florida a few years ago to adopt and provide an extraordinary loving forever home.
We love these heartwarming pupdates from our adopters. They bring a smile to our face and warm our heart💗
“Just a few pictures of PETUNIA. We rescued each other three years ago.”
🐾💕We all love precious photos. Thank you Michael for sharing photos of Petunia and for being such an extraordinary dad. Wishing you and Petunia continued “Happy Days Ahead!”🐾💕

🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE FROM FRANKIE AND RZ’S MOM🐾💕 “Seven years ago, my guy, Frankie. And my other rescue girl, RZ. RZ had such a tough life, and all she wanted to be was somebody’s pet, and bed dog. 7 years of trying to get pups from her, including artificial insemination. Her litter sister, now a national champion, endured the same fate.” Thankfully, Frankie and RZ were rescued, fostered an adopted by their amazing foster mom, Barbara. They are so loved, nurtured and will never want for anything.
“Hi, I wanted to send you some new pictures and videos of my baby boy. Beanie and I are moving to Jacksonville in a couple of months and I will definitely keep in touch with you.
I love him more than life itself. He has been the biggest blessing in my life 😍
Thank you so much. I am so blessed to have this dog in my life and I will keep in touch with you for sure 😍”
🐾💕We are all wishing Beanie and his mom, “Happy Days Ahead!”🐾💕
♥️🐾🌈IN LOVING MEMORY OF BEAUTIFUL BABY. SHE WAS GONE TO SOON♥️ 💔Our hearts are breaking for Baby’s moms. They were the most amazing fur parents. Baby will always be in their hearts and loving thoughts. We are all sending our healing prayers🙏 Until they meet their Baby again at Rainbow Bridge🌈
🐾💕Just Look Up🐾💕
“It’s with a very heavy heart to let you know we lost Baby. She was very sick with a heart murmur/enlarged heart the doctor said she is young with a old heart. We loved her so much as you loved your Babies. The loss is tremendous we will all never be the same. Thank you for bringing her into our lives and saving her. Our hearts are broken, we could not have had a more special Baby. All the Kisses and Love she brought to us everyday. Like Helen Reddy’s song “The Memories Alone will have to do.” Much love to you. Thank you for being such a good friend to us.”
🐾💕GOOD NEWS PUPDATE FROM PRINCESS THE MALTIPOO’S MOM🐾💕
Princess is a sweetheart!!!! Kisses a hundred times a day, a lap dog like I never had before. We love her to death. She couldn’t be more at home with us if we got her as a pup!! Thanks again❤️”
“Max is adjusting and loves watermelon. He seems to have some anxiety especially in the car. I consider us to be works in process. We love him and hope he loves us. He also likes green beans, sweet potato, and cucumber. He also likes to go to bed around 10 and sleeps with his babies. He gets the babies up in the morning. The babies are little stuffed bears that he carries in his mouth ; and God help us if they get lost. I swear that he knows how to count to three. We have rescued them from Annie, the robot.”
